Warren Buffett是怎样积累这么多的财富的？通过进来的一个调查,他有将近410亿的资产.让我们到omaha来看看Warren Buffett的童年,我们先来看他祖父留下来的三个店铺.
-"这个店铺."
-"是这里吗?"
-"在我叔叔退休回到我祖父家之前这是Buffett的家,它创建于1869年,有一百多年了,但并不是一直都在这里,这是最后一个店铺,我们将所有的店铺都重新装修了一下,我的祖父告诉我并不是所有的人都会付他们的帐单,这有时候让我们很不高兴,我将会带你到每个店去参观,这将是一个很好的学习机会."

这个建筑物仍然保留了他原来的风格,在这里年轻的Buffett迈出了他事业成功的第一步.

-"大概是14岁吧"
-"14?"

-"你买地的钱是从哪来的呢?"
-"卖报纸赚来的."
-"你把赚来的钱存起来?"
-"是的,但是我只买的起地,无法在这片地上做进一步的投资,因为我没有那么多钱,这是我的起步."
-"你第一次是买什么股票?'
-"第一次买的股票是城市服务股."
-"那时候你几岁呢?"
-"11岁吧"
-"你11岁就开始买股票了?"
-"是的,之前我都把时间都浪费了,我应该早点买股票."
-"你从中获得了什么?"
-"我买了三股,每股赚了5美元,我以38.25买进40出售,27点就赚了一点,我总共买了200美元"(?????????????)
从1944年的股票交易中,他获得了重要的投资战略,那就是要有耐心,购买它,持有它.与此同时他还学到了两件重要的事情那就是他自己究竟喜欢做什么?"

Buffet的重要的旅程是从1956年开始,25岁的他没有被哈佛大学录取,他就用他朋友，家人以及他自己的钱和他的七个朋友一起买股票,在接下来的九年里,他们将原来的十万五千美元变成了二千六百万,以240000%的速度增长,他们主要投资纺纱公司,现代化设备农场还有风车磨坊公司.13年后Buffett和另一个人的合作,使他成为了一个成功的投资者,他说服他的老朋友old Monger加入他们的公司,成为公司的副总裁,Buffet作为拥有大量子公司的总裁,这个著名生活丰富多彩的老人是如何做到的呢?"

Buffett在1964年管理Burg公司的时候就收购了大量的公司其中包括可口可乐,华盛顿邮报,公司收购了68家的子公司,在三月,公司收购了第一家保险公司National Indemnity,在1972年,公司用两千五百万收购了See's Candies,1983年9月收购了Nebraska 家俱公司,1989年7月收购了Mart Borsheim,1998年一月公司收购了 Dairy Queen和 Geico 在八月收购了Net-Jets,在十二月收购了General Re Corp.2003年八月收购了水果空间,Buffe现在正在国外寻求更大的发展空间.
-"据说你最近正在收购一项新的产业,你购买了以色列钢铁公司80%的汽车.你为什么会同该公司合作,你们是怎样进行合作的?"
-"我是在去年的十月份收到一封信,来信人我并不认识,这个公司我也从来没有听说过,但就是这个人我想同他合作,因他在信中说到你们公司总是能引起我们和你们合作的兴趣,我不知道我能不能加入你们的公司,但是我确信如果你们愿意的话,我们可以进行很好的合作,但是我无法和你进行面谈,他没有和我见面,我们就这样签订了合同."
-"就是这样吗?"
-"就是这样,我至今还没有到过该公司."
-"你没有到过该公司就购买了它?"
-"是的,但是我们经常联系."
-"当你忙于公司的投资的时候,又怎样经营它呢?"
-"我要签订有关公司的合同,但这必须是在股份制的前提下进行的,当一个人在20或21岁进行投资的时候,他完全不知道该怎么做,你只会去分析该公司的财政情况了解该公司有多大的竞争力,然后对公司的管理情况进行评估,最后估出大概的价格,我通常都是这么做的."
-"所以你不会雇佣华尔街的军人来做你们公司的财政报告是吗?"
-"我不这么认为,有许多人认为我们不雇人但实际的情况是我们现在并不需要."
-"你没有谈到你是公司的总裁,但是许多其他公司的总裁都会说他们是以公司的主人来管理公司的.你是怎样来看待公司总裁这个职位的?"
-"对于这个问题我谈过几次,但Burg公司是一个合资企业,我在1960年就有合作关系了.许多的人到现在还拥有Burg的股票,这些人都是公司的合作者,而且我也会常常和他们进行交流,因为我拥有大部分的股票,因此我是合作者中的管理者,刚刚开始经营公司的时候你会希望有人帮你一起出谋划策,但是不同的人有不同的观点,每个人有不同的意见,而且很难做到达成一致的协议,因为现在谁都可以购买股票,但我的政策就是不以股票的多少来决定公司的政策,公司里的很多人都将他们看做是公司的主人来管理公司."
-"这是很重要的一点,全观Burg公司,发现你们公司有很多的子公司,而且你的员工都十分的团结,而且最近有一个公司管理层受贿的丑闻,你是怎样使你们公司的员工都努力的为公司工作的?你是不是不断的对他们进行思想教育?
-是的,我认为这是最好的方法,我不会制定出上百页的规则,我也要忙于经营管理公司,我常常告诉他们公司的发展取决于他们我们的公司有20万员工,我无法对他们每天的行为进行检查,但是只要我一旦发现他们不断犯错,就会开除他们.实际行动通常比那些书面上的东西有效多了."
-"你是公司的高层管理人员,你是怎样使自己做到安于现状的?"

when Warren Buffet calls,you answer,when he invites you to Almahal you go,i recently had the oppotunity to spend the day with the world's most famous investor in his own town,a founder down to earth,funny and eager to share his secret of success.
To understand how Warren Buffet has gotten so rich 41 billion dollars according to recent estimates.It helps to look back to the childhood days in Almalhar.Back to his grandfather's growth three store.
-"the store."
-"right here?"
-"it was in the Buffet family until 1969 when my uncle fianlly retired,went back to my great grandfather,starting at 1869,so we last hundred years,not always this location,this is the last atmosphere,and we had collected every stores and my grandfather told me that people would didn't pay their bill sometime and we have approprioately unhappy about that.i will go on every instruct we can.It was fine education."
-"so you work?"
-"i work hard."
The building was stored to look to the way it did a century ago,it is the place where a young Warren make his first small steps to world big financial freedom.
-"What was your first business?"
-"First business,actually,my grandfather were sell me chewing gun,regularly chewing gun and i would go round door to door at my neighbourhhood selling them and he also sell me coca cola six for a quarter and i sold in a niche,i enjoy to sell at my neighbour"
-"still got 5 cents profits."
-"and i had the little thing that i sold the chewing gun.and,and..."
-"Right,right,i was always trying to do something other."
-"what's the first piece of real estate you bought?"
-"Well,i bought a farm when i was in Washington.i bought the out of here in Washington county."
-"How old are you?"
-"i think i was 14"
-"14?"
-"yes,i was 14 at that time."
-"where do you get the money?"
-"From pape out."
-"and you save the money?"
-"yach,but i cant abore with the farm,i mean whats the year i sold so many to all???? thats it.that's my first stocks."
-"What the first stock you bought?"
-"first stock were city service perfece stock."
-"How old are you?"
-"i was 11"
-"you bought the stock at the age of 11?"
-"yach,i don't know why i was waste the time before then,i get start too late."
-"and how to do with the city?"
-"Well,i made all of the 5 dollars on that have 3 shares.i bought 38and quarter and i sold them around 40,one out of 27 in between,and then i sold at 200 dollars."
From that qually time stock sell in 1944,he learns lesson becomes his legendary investment strategy,patience pays,so buying them and hold them.Buffet figures out 2 other critical things about himself in the 1940s what is he good at and more importantly what he likes to do?
-"You say you like to tap word?"(??????????)
-"i like to tap the word,dont ask me to do it.that's just for the talking,for your to figure out."
-"but i want to see this."
-"but that's how much you love it?"
-"i love it! i wouldnt be doing it if i dont like.i will be crazy if i was doing something at the age of 70,6 in the normal day if i dont want to do,rihgt?"
The pivital moment in Buffet journey comes in 1956,just 25 years old the man were rejected by Harvard now armed with contribution from family and friends and hundreds dollars of his own money,stocks limited partnership with 7 people over the next 9 years turning 105000 dollars into 26million ,a stunning 24000% increase investing mostly in textile companies farm equipment manufactures and even the companies making wind mills.13 years later Buffet forms another partnership that becomes one of the greatest one-two countries in the history of investor.He convince longtime friend Charly Monger to quit his investment partnership and join Buffet as the vice president as the Burg have the way.Now with the 82 year old Monger,Buffet seats the top,one of the greatest holding companies,ever,but how does this famously colorful cheerman do it?"
-"i know the students ask for sold at that time,but what do you look for when you want to buy business?"
-"i look for something i can understand,you know, to start with.That's all kinds of business i don't understand.so what? As long as i got someone what i call my comfort.so i'm looking for something i understand.i don't understand what car company goona from 10years now,what software company gonna from 10 years now,what chemical company gonna from 10 years now,but i do understand that the snack bars will be the number one candy bar station that would be like being for 40 years or something.so i look for durable competitive damage,durable competitive damage.that's how i define i look in something i understand.i look for an honest and able management andn i look for parties i pay "
While Buffet big acquisition made headlines wide investment in company in such coca cola,the Washington post and Gillette have bought the capital to make those acquisition possible since taking control the Burg 1964,the company has acquired 68 subsidiaries.In March of that year Burg acquired its first insurace company National Indemnity.In 1972,See's Candies for 25 million dollars.Sept of 1983 Nebraska furniture, Mart Borsheim's on July story in1989.In 1998 Burg require Dairy Queen and Geico in Jan Net-Jets in Aug and General Re Corp in Dec.In Apr of 2003 Fruit of the room.Msot recently,Buffet look abroad for new business.
-"You to start to take adventure recently,you bought 80% of its car.the Israely metal's work company.What was it that put that company on your radar?How did you find out?"
-"i got a letter about just about a year right now in Otc last year.i got one of the quarter page letter from the follower i've never heard of ,from the company i've never heard of ,but in that page of quarter it just left off the page.That's the kind of person i want to do business with and what kind of business we want to own.so he said in that letter ,he said you are always interested we are only want to do business with Burg,We cant sure we can buy the only company to join in and in least he didn't come over to see me ,so he didn't come over to see me.we made the deal"
-"that's it?"
-"thats it.i've never saw the company"
-"you bought without seeing it"
-"i bought without seeing it ,right.but we do it frequently"
-"How you do it frequently when your notiously careful about all your investment?"
-"but i hace to sign up the business.i mean that,the background being in stocks.i mean when you if you put own home stock in your 20or21,you dont know you've never heard thid business.you really analyzing financials you trying to assess what they have durable competitive damage,trying to assess the quality of the management and entirely view of the management and try to reasonable the price,thats all waht i do."
-"so you dont hire an army of Wall Street hot shirts to pull through report some finance?"
-"i dont think its an army actually,but there are army people think we dont hire anybody,we dont hire anybody,you know."
-"you dont talk a lot of what CEO talk at least,and you dont act that way.A lot of CEOs might say that they run their companies like their the owner.what do you read about that,you see CEOs."
-"i came at that few times,but Burg actually partnership i've the partnership back in 1960 to bought control of the Burg.A lot of people still own shares of the Burg.these people are partners and i try to communicate with them in that manner,i try to act at my partner,you know i'm the manager in partner but i got a lot of stocks,but if you were start in a business you would want a people who are think with you,may be crazy get much people get in different objects,so we want to create cmmunity with people the same type of horizons,the same type of objects, the measure of the same way and that's hard to with the publish stock because anybody they can buy and overtime,my certain policies communication but not put in the stock,we really get much people who look at themselves as owners."
-"that's crucial,but when you look at the overall Burg have the way business,you got a lot of subsidies,you got a lot business you own and to keep all of those people at line.i know that the way that most recent bad actions back dating scandle that you send out the mammal to leaders each the company same to keep the clear,but how do you really send that message home?well i think that's the best way.i mean that's i dont sell some hundred page rules because then start to look for tople and i don't communicate frequently so when they get something i really know i mean it so it's only couple years but i told them the Burg's reputation is on their hands,we can expect everyday i mean the city of 200000 totally free anything i don't got but once found has to be jumped down and the tone of top makes more difference than anything you could do through the written word
-"but your tone have always been one of the top chief at that house now do you manage through these years to not get greedy?"
