According the number of the phone, from which the call is initialed, Morodo can determine the corresponding user information such as the remaining balance and so on, and then route the call to the international number the user wants to call. Thus the original target market of Morodo is customers that have free minutes plan.

Then does it mean that customers in other regions cannot use the service of Morodo. Of course not, beause Morodo also offers callback method other than access number. Select “Your Account”, then select “Network settings”, then modify “Current Service” to “Roaming”, and you can use the VoIP service from Morodo outside Great Britain now.

Select “MO-Call” now, you mobile phone will automaticlly send a SMS of “destination number T call length @ source number” format to Morodo’s SMS center, then Morodo will make calls to source number and destination number respectively then connect these two calls. Compare to access number method, callback method has extra cost of the SMS to Great Britain and the rate is the summary to these two numbers. Consequently, 3 GBP will only last for 100 minutes. This method is suitable for customers in Great Britain and customers that can send cheap international SMS (for example, who is using T-Mobile and LycaMobile). Maybe by using applications from Betamax that also can trigger the callback service.
